Firstly - a review on what meridians are. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) believe that meridians are the ‘energy highways’ in the human body. There are 12 meridians, many of them corresponding with important organs in the body, including the lungs, the heart, the kidneys, and the bladder. When energy is blocked in any of these meridians, patients can have all sorts of funky things going on, ranging for mood swings to chronic illness (like asthma).
So...the pericardium meridian. As Farris explains in the podcast, the pericardium meridian is associated with the heart meridian and is important for emotional and sexual health. Listen on for another hilarious episode - you might just learn something new.
